Stan Kuppens is hotel manager on Eurodam, and is responsible for all aspects of shipboard operations aside from the marine and technical departments. During construction of Eurodam, Kuppens resides near Venice and oversees construction and outfitting of the vessel at the Fincantieri shipyard.

After graduating from the University of Hotel Management, Kuppens entered Holland America Line’s management trainee program, where he learned every area of the hotel department. Kuppens has sailed with Holland America for 16 years as food and beverage manager and hotel manager. He oversaw construction of Noordam, considered the best newbuild delivery in company history.
