Rose Abello is vice president, public relations for Holland America Line, with overall responsibility for planning and directing worldwide public relations activities. Abello oversees the company’s philanthropic activities, and leads the team responsible for inaugural, launch and dedication events for new vessels.

In addition, Abello has spearheaded developing the innovative iPod art tours available throughout the fleet as well as publishing The Art of Cruising — Fine Art and Antiques of Holland America Line.

Abello joined Holland America Line from the Aspen Skiing Company, where she had served since 1997 as director of communications. From 1989-1997, Abello was with Karen Weiner Escalera Associates, Inc., a New York public relations agency specializing in the travel and hospitality industry.
