Lido Cabanas Are a Nice Place to Lounge
Julie | June 24, 2008 at 9:30 am | In Latest News, Photos, Shipboard Amenities |Since we’ve showed you the Retreat cabanas, we thought you’d like to see the Lido cabanas too. The loungers look really comfortable and their proximity to the pool makes them the perfect place to relax.

The cabanas are right next to the pool under the Magrodome.

There will be curtains between the cabanas giving some privacy, but at the time of this photo they hadn’t been installed.

The cabanas are behind the curtains.

Thanks so much for these photos. I think these look great, but I fear they might be very hot. Will the ocean air be able to get into these cabanas? Also, are they all meant to accomodate only 2 adults? We generally have 2 cabins with 3 adults (my Mom buys a single) - will it be large enough for 3 adults or will we need to rent two cabanas? Thanks

wow, fabulous.
Question: does the frame of that water feature has some kind of protective paper coating right now or is that the design?

Joserus:
That’s the design. The surface is either stone or a stone-like substance and carved into the surface is the word “water” in scores of languages. We’ve got a couple of great shots of the water feature tat we’ll be posting in the next couple of days, so stay tuned.

You can purchase the cabanas for the week ahead of time. Otherwise you have to wait until you get onboard. You can call the onboard gifts department or have your travel agent book it for you. I already reserved mine. I wonder how they will enforce other people using the reserved cabanas or know who is who…

Also I have heard that these accomodate 4, but there are family cabanas that hold more.

I am concerned that so much of the Lido deck space has been dedicated to these lounges. We typically spend a good amount of time, with friends coming and going, at a table in this area around lunch time. What free space with a table that is left will now be hard to come by.
