Pam snapped these photos of the Piano Bar. It looks like a cozy, relaxing lounge to enjoy, well, tunes on the piano!

  1. Very bad choices in Barstools, club chairs and sofas. Did they get this furniture from a garage sale after the QE2’s 1988 refit? They make the room look dated and their colors clash with the walls and carpet. They should replace this furniture as soon as possible. Otherwise the room has potential. Nice lamps. I like the artwork and the overall coziness of the room, but the furniture has to go.

  2. Hmmmmm taste is on the beholder. The room looks quite elegant and cozy or as we say in Dutch gezellig. There is nothing wrong with the furniture. And the QE2 she cannot come close to the much grander HAL passenger vessels.

  3. HA! yes, you are correct. The point I was making was the the furniture seems dated and detracts from an otherwise beautiful room.
    The ship overall is looking to be fantastic and I can’t wait to cruise on her in February.
