We’ve received several inquiries about the balconies on the Observation Deck verandah staterooms, so we’re posting this recent photo.

    I think it’s what they call a French balcony, which is not large enough to fit a chair on, but does provide room for a couple of people to stand and watch the scenery.

  3. Yep you’re right, it’s called a French balcony. Only room enough for a few people to go out and smoke a cigarette or see what’s going on outside. Still nicer than no balcony at all.
    This VT class of cabin will have the “spa” decor which in my opinion should have been extended to the whole ship. It’s beautiful.
