It was long ago that a HAL passenger vessel was dedicated in the city (The Prinsendam (1) was the last in 1973) Those 3/4 days hundreds of thousand came and see the new Oosterdam and flagship Rotterdam. Older Rotterdammers remember well that there where 2, 3 HAL liners at the Wilhelminakade. Lucky i found myself a/b the Oosterdam and Rotterdam 2 days in a row and was guest at the dedication. Therefore i was happy that Eurodam will also dedicated in our beloved city. And there lays my question In Oosterdam case (as in the case of the Prinses Margriet, Nieuw Amsterdam and Rotterdam) Princess Margriet is the godmother. Who will be the Godmother of the Eurodam.
