Inside Stateroom

When the time came to begin designing the cabins for Eurodam, Holland America Line turned to Seattle-based NB Design Group to create a different aesthetic from previous ships in the fleet.

Inside staterooms will have blond, maple-toned furniture, creating a light and airy environment. The recessed area behind the beds will be painted sky-blue and covered by sheer curtains with a burn-out, wave pattern that allows hints of blue to show – in effect, creating the illusion of a window.

  1. For clarification,

Is this a Category J (on main deck, not the higher decks, with the more square shape) inside? It seems to not be the configuration of most insides on the Vista class which the Eurodam is closely comparable to.

Will the smaller (relatively) “Standard and Large” inside rooms have the same coloring and appearance although a different size/shape?

  2. Yes, it is a mock-up of the more square-style staterooms. And yes, all the insides are to be similar in color and appearance.
