More Decks Means More Stateroom Choices

The additional deck on Eurodam accommodates 63 more staterooms than the Vista-class ships. Forty-seven will be verandah staterooms and 10 will be a new style of stateroom with ceiling-to-floor and wall-to-wall panoramic windows. Of the ship’s 1,022 staterooms, 86 percent will be outsides and 67 percent will have verandahs.

  1. There’s been talk that the wall to wall floor to ceiling window rooms will also have a “french balcony” where it’ll open up but you really can’t stand out there.

Any way to either confirm or deny this?

  2. Good question, InTheWASide. The floor-to-ceiling concept was changed after the ship plans developed. It was decided that it would be better for guests to have a verandah, so now these cabins will have a curved verandah. They are smaller than a regular verandah but larger than a French balcony. In fact, they will have a small table and chairs.

  5. Eurodam is being designed in part by Frans Dingemans of VFD Interiors, The Netherlands, as well as by Bjorn Storbraaten of Petter Yran & Bjorn Storbraaten architects A.S. of Norway.

  6. Please Can you explain which part is Bjorn Storbraaten and which part is VFD Interiors?

  8. Haco, we’re working on your request. In the next day or two, the feature entry will be a breakdown of which public rooms each designer is responsible for.

  9. I love the corner aft Deluxe Verandah Suites on the Vista Class and especially like deck 5 we have found the cabin roomier than the other corner aft cabins and haa a great lay out. Will the Eurodam corner afts be the same size as the current Vista Class ships, specifically deck 5?

  10. Yes, Eurodam will feature the same corner aft Deluxe Verandah Suites with their L-shaped balconies. There will be the same number and they will be the same size as on the Vista-class vessels.
